Teeth Whitening in Clarksville

Bright, white teeth are an essential component of any beautiful smile. Unfortunately, as staining builds-up below the surface, teeth can appear dulled, darkened and yellowed. This is a very common problem that adversely affects millions of people. Professional whitening services have proven to be extremely helpful in combating staining and helping people achieve better-looking smiles. These treatments feature minimal discomfort, and they offer amazing results that can be seen immediately.

Professional teeth whitening starts by applying a hydrogen peroxide gel directly on the teeth. The gel is then activated using a light to produce powerful oxygen ions. These ions will enter the interior dentin to breakdown the staining that causes discolorations. This process is highly effective, and the entire procedure is generally completed in under an hour. In most cases, the desired results are attained after just one treatment. We use our own in-house whitening products in our whitening treatments.

How do whitening treatments work?

To provide professional teeth whitening treatments, we apply an advanced hydrogen peroxide gel over the teeth. The lips, gums and other vulnerable areas are covered up to prevent exposure. The gel is then activated using an overhead light to produce oxygen ions. These ions can enter the inside of the teeth to break-down staining without causing damage.

Are whitening treatments painful?

Our professional whitening treatments feature minimal patient pain and discomfort. We cover any vulnerable areas during the procedure to prevent any unnecessary exposure. The vast majority of patients get through the process experiencing little-to-no irritation or discomfort.

How long does teeth whitening take?

The process is usually completed in under an hour. In most cases, it takes less than 45 minutes. The results will be immediately visible following treatment, and the teeth can be used as normal afterward.

How long does teeth whitening last?

The typical patient finds that their whitening results last several years. The key to maintaining the results is to prevent any unwanted staining from building up. The best way to avoid this is to practice proper brushing and flossing habits. Patients should always remember that whitening treatments are not designed to serve as a substitute for regular dental care.

Just Wow! What an awesome friendly staff! They were all so kind and easy to talk to on the first visit. The office is decorated nicely and they have lots of machines I've never seen before which is nice to see a place trying to stay up to date with technology. And they have TVs which is a bonus. It's refreshing to see an entire staff with a positive attitude.

Sango Family Dentistry is by far the best experience I have had when having dental work done. From the greeting at the front desk to the completion of the work, everyone was helpful and pleasant. The doctor was gentle when he was working on my teeth, and even checked on me later that evening to make sure I was okay. Highly recommend!

Sango Family Dentistry is awesome.... simply put. Went in to get a bridge today and was in the chair for 2 hours. Dr. Troung and Grace were excellent! They treated me with respect and patience and made sure I was completely comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of dental work.
